Introductory Schools
The Hausdorff School offers additional international workshops and one-week introductory schools designed for postdoctoral researchers.
Introductory talks given by pioneers in their research area provide an overview about the open questions and recent developments in the field, and describe the state of art. Scheduled at the beginning of a thematic trimester program on the same subject at the Hausdorff Research Institute (HIM), the workshops prepare the participants for a possible participation in the trimester or junior trimester program. Young researchers get in contact with international visitors and can experience the atmosphere of a research institute.
